Who is responsible
SI Analytics is responsible for personal information processed to operate our website and learning services. Contact contact@sianalytics.org for privacy questions and requests. This is our email contact address, not a postal address.
Information we handle
We receive information you provide when creating an account, enrolling, contacting support, making submissions or sharing feedback. Records may include your name, email, profile, enrolments, payment references, quiz attempts, grades, messages, uploaded files and certificates. Payment providers handle checkout; do not send us card details or passwords.
Security systems may process IP addresses, approximate location, device information and session timestamps. The portal records learning activity for progress and administration. Do not upload identifiable patient records, confidential employer information or personal data without appropriate authority.
Purposes and legal bases
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, necessary account, enrolment, assessment and support processing is used to provide the service you request or take steps at your request before providing it. Necessary accounting and legally required disclosures rely on applicable legal obligations.
We rely on legitimate interests for proportionate security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and service administration, subject to your rights and a balancing of those interests. Optional Google Analytics and optional learning emails use consent. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. Learning terms are not blanket consent for marketing.
Website analytics
Our aggregate public-page analytics stores daily page and approximate-country totals for 90 days, not individual visits, raw IP addresses or form contents in that analytics database. Hosting providers still process network requests. Portal activity is a separate, identifiable system.
If you allow optional analytics, Google Analytics uses cookies and browser identifiers to report public page views, approximate countries, campaign sources, navigation and engagement. Google processes network information. We filter URL parameters and do not send form answers, account details or portal events to Google Analytics. Advertising features are disabled. Decline or withdraw through Cookie settings without losing learning access.
Providers and international processing
Providers include Supabase for authentication, database and storage; Vercel and network infrastructure providers for hosting and delivery; Resend for email; Selar for checkout; YouTube for videos; and Google for optional public analytics. Authorised staff access information needed for their duties. External services also operate under their own notices.
Processing may occur outside your country, including in the United States. Where transfer restrictions apply, appropriate safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism are required. Contact us for the arrangements relevant to your data. This notice does not assert that a particular provider certification or contract has been independently audited by SI Analytics.
Public profiles and certificates
Intentionally published analyst profiles and approved learner stories are visible to visitors. Certificate verification may reveal credential details to someone holding its link. Coursework does not automatically provide permission to publish a testimonial.
You may request correction or removal of a public profile or story. Search-engine caches, screenshots and independently shared copies may persist after the original is removed.
Retention and anonymous statistics
Account and learning records are kept while needed for learning access, progress, assessment and support. After closure, retention is assessed by category, including payment and accounting obligations, credential verification, unresolved disputes, security investigations and applicable legal requirements. Support and operational records are not retained indefinitely simply because someone paid for training.
Public aggregate traffic totals are retained for 90 days. Optional analytics choices last 180 days and Google cookies have a configured 180-day lifetime. Cookie expiry does not delete data already processed by Google; property-side retention and provider backups are separate. Contact us for the applicable provider retention details.
We may retain genuinely anonymous training totals after deletion without names, emails, account identifiers or uploaded work. Enrolments and verified completions are distinct. Identifiable records kept for a necessary purpose remain subject to privacy rights; archiving does not make them anonymous.
Your choices and requests
Email contact@sianalytics.org to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection or withdrawal of consent, or raise a concern. Rights depend on applicable law and processing. See GDPR & Privacy Rights for the process. Proportionate identity checks may be necessary; never send a password or authenticator code.
Unsubscribing from optional emails does not stop essential account or security messages. Paid learners retain privacy rights. If information must be retained, we will explain the relevant categories and reasons.
Children and updates
Contact us before creating an account for a child so eligibility and any necessary parent, guardian or institutional arrangements can be established. Do not assume an adult learning account provides those arrangements.
The publication date appears on these pages. Material changes will be reflected in the notice, with additional notification or renewed consent where required. New terms do not retrospectively replace existing purchase terms.
